Time is passing fast: Memories from the last project meeting
15/06/2025, Resolvo, Italy
On 17th June we met for the morning session to finalize the presentations to be provided during the final conference. We had a short overview and result presentation, deliverables check. In particular, partners discussed over the project social media. They addressed the issues related to the videos and the local events which were or to be organized soon.
As soon as we started our final conference, the welcome speech of the Dean of the Faculty was delivered. Following this welcome, a keynote speech is delivered by Emilia Sutton: “ESG in Logistics: From Compliance to Competitive Advantage”, Sutton ESG Consulting. Ms Sutton gave a speech related to the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the logistics industry, as it is becoming increasingly critical as companies seek to align with global sustainability goals and responsible practices.
Following the speech, partners presented the Slog4.0 main results in a coordinated presentation among Beata Mrugalska, Brigitta Gajšek, Jana Faschinger-Sanborn, Elizabeth Pereira and Nina Szczygiel. They provided an overview of the project, starting from WP2, dedicated to “Detailed Training Need Analysis and Definition of Training Course Design Principles and Curriculum”, WP3 “Designing and Preparing Training Materials and Assessment Criteria”, WP4 “Piloting the Course and Delivery of the Final Output” and WP5 about Communication. They presented the platform and provided an overview of the main pilot activities delivered by the three universities present at the event.
Finally, partners participated in a Round table, discussing the following main points:
- What upcoming innovations in sustainable logistics excite you the most?
- How can government regulation and policy support or accelerate sustainable logistics initiatives?
- Are customers and clients truly driving the shift to greener logistics, or is it still top-down?
- What role do interdisciplinary programs (e.g., combining IT, environmental science, and logistics) play in preparing future leaders?
- What are the benefits of this project to stakeholders?
- What did you learn from this project?
- What are the greatest challenges in working in the Erasmus project?
Partners shared their experience and collected inputs from the audience.
